Welcome to North Scottsdale Acupuncture

Home page

At North Scottsdale Acupuncture, we use Chinese medicine principles to evaluate and treat a wide range of issues. Acupuncture is a pain therapy that involves the insertion of very fine needles into the body at specific locations which result in immediate reduction in pain. Most patients experience relief instantly. The number of treatments needed to achieve complete resolution depends upon the duration of the ailment.  The needles increase blood flow to the area and they have been shown to reduce swelling and inflammation, which promotes healing. The scientific reason that acupuncture works is not well understood, but its success has been demonstrated though 4,000 years of experience since its inception in ancient China. At this clinic we have great success with acupuncture. We are conveniently located in Building 1 of the medical office plaza on the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea hospital campus.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

There are thousands of Chinese herbs. These herbs have been in use for 4000 years of Chinese history (at least). The approach to using herbs in Chinese medicine follows a logical paradigm about how imbalances are created and in what order they should be resolved. For more complex and chronic illnesses, individuals need to be under the supervision of a Certified Herbalist and seen in the clinic. For patients with highly complex cases or for those who would prefer not to have acupuncture, we are happy to offer herbal consultations for Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions only.  For more information call 480-389-9030 or BOOK ONLINE NOW.
